Champloo Sensation

This logo was for a podcast idea of mine called Champloo Sensation. In the process of making the rough draft of the logo, I wanted to focus on making the microphone the main part which you can see in the first and last picture. While I liked the overall idea, I wanted to the logo have a more trendy feel. So in the end, I decided to replace the microphone with the symbol of radio waves in the background, adding a spray paint effect and a softer font to match the look I envisioned. This led me to the redesigned logo.
